Cash drawer: open, move cash, close and deposit

Opening count, paid in and out, safe drops, blind close and the end-of-day deposit.

1. Open: count the starting cash by bill and coin, or enter the total. Rowan suggests what the last close left in the drawer.
2. During the day: Paid in (more change), Paid out (supplies), No sale (open the drawer), and Safe drop (move cash to the safe). A reminder shows when cash passes the amount set in POS settings › Stations › Cash handling.
3. Close: count the drawer. If blind close is on, the expected amount shows only after the count. If it's over or short, recount or add a note.
4. Enter how much to leave in the drawer for the next shift. Rowan shows the deposit.

The drawer report prints the day. The sales summary shows every drawer, safe drops, deposits and the total cash for the bank.
