Receipt printers and cash drawers

Connect Star CloudPRNT or Epson Server Direct Print printers; auto-print receipts and open the drawer.

Rowan prints over the internet to Star printers with CloudPRNT (for example TSP143IV or mC-Print3) and Epson printers with Server Direct Print (for example TM-m30III). There's nothing to install on the device.

1. In POS settings › Receipt printers, add the printer, choose its station and paper width.
2. Copy the server address Rowan shows.
3. Open the printer's setup page in a browser (type its IP address), turn on CloudPRNT or Server Direct Print, paste the address and save.
4. Within a minute Rowan shows the printer as Online. Tap Test print.

Receipts print after every sale if auto-print is on, and can be reprinted from the sale. A cash drawer plugged into the printer opens on cash sales, paid in, paid out and no sale.

Printer shows offline? Check it's on, connected to the internet, and that the address was pasted exactly. Jobs wait and print when it reconnects.
