Roles and permissions

What each permission covers, and the three levels: yes, manager PIN, no.

Edit roles in Staff › Roles. Manager and Staff come built in; you can add your own. The account owner can always do everything.

• Register: give discounts; ring a custom amount or change a price; sell gift cards; make a sale tax exempt.
• Refunds: refund or void; see past sales and receipts.
• Cash drawer: open and close a drawer (and safe drops); paid in; paid out; no sale; see expected cash before counting.
• Tips & time: see everyone's tips; pay out tips; change a tip split; see timesheets; fix clock times.
• Services & products: edit the menu and prices; change stock.
• Reports and Team.

"Needs a manager PIN" lets the person do it when someone whose role allows it enters their PIN. Rowan records who approved.
