Tips

Tips to the provider or pooled by hours, cash tip declarations, splits and payouts.

Choose how card tips are shared in POS settings › Tips:

• Tips go to the provider: each tip goes to the staff on the ticket, split by service amount when more than one person worked on it.
• Tip pool by hours worked: each day's card tips are shared by everyone in the pool by hours clocked that day.

A single tip can be re-split from Staff › Tips.

Paying out: pay tips from the drawer (Pay tips to…) or mark them paid on payroll (Record payroll). Staff can declare cash tips at clock-out, and Monthly tip reports prints one page per person to sign.
