Card price and cash price on the ticket

How dual pricing, cash discount and surcharge show at the Register and on the terminal.

Your pricing program is set by your payment provider to match your processing agreement; it can't be changed in Rowan.

• Dual pricing: every item shows a card price and a cash price. The ticket totals both.
• Cash discount: the posted price is the card price; paying cash saves the difference.
• Surcharge: credit cards get a surcharge added at the terminal; debit cards and cash don't.
• Standard: one price.

Rowan always sends the cash price to the terminal; the terminal adds its program's adjustment and shows the client both prices. Talk to clients in terms of "a cash price and a card price".
